Band and Orchestra

When: TBD (Tuesdays or Thursdays)
Who:
4th and 5th grade instrumentalists
(strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion...after group is developed add...keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, drum set)
Time: 4-4:45pm
Cost: $40/4 classes
Location: Piney Ridge Elementary School
Transportation: Transportation will be offered from Freedom, Linton and Carrolltowne to class (Piney Ridge Elementary School) for a $25 transportation fee every 4 weeks.
Now you can ROCK on any instrument! 4th, 5th, 6th Grade instrumentalists advance their skills by playing rock, pop and jazz music! As an extension of the awesome kids program’s K-5th Grade band and orchestra, this class features a combined ROCK band and orchestra playing a variety of songs.
Play songs from the Beatles, Van Halen, Michael Jackson and more on any instrument!
While the class plays some music selected from the JoeyDCares Rock Orchestra’s repertoire, it does not perform or meet with the JoeyDCares Rock Orchestra. It is our hope that all of these students will join the JDCRO performing group some day! More about the JDCRO by clicking here.
